“Neon illuminations, interactive projections and glowing installations will light up the streets of Canning Town, London Borough of Newham, on 30th November 2013, for London’s first ever Light Night. This is a festival of light, community and energy – it’s completely free and open to all.
The programme has been designed to entertain and illuminate, inspire and celebrate – don’t miss this unique opportunity to see Canning Town like you have never seen it before! The project is organised by The Brick Box CIC, an arts organisation and social enterprise with a track record of creating interesting happenings in unusual spaces, and championing the night time economy.
The project is funded by the Arts Council England, Bouygues UK, Bouygues Development, Sisk UK, English Cities Fund, One Housing Group, Cathedral Group, Countryside Properties, IALD, Ash Sakula Architects, The House of Fairy Tales and The Brick Box, and supported by Newham Council and Urban Projects Bureau. Many thanks to all those who have contributed to London’s first ever Light Night”
