UPB are developing proposals for an interlocking housing typology in Southwark. Learning from the surrounding Victorian terraces, the compact development uses a stepped-section to provide a range of 1, 2 and 3 bed residential units, balconies, roof terraces and shared garden spaces, integrated into a singular architectural form.
The project replaces an existing low-quality 1980s detached house and aims to contribute positively to the Nunhead Green Conservation Area by providing a higher-density, more socially sustainable and higher-quality residential typology.
